Owner can’t possibly ignore ball under stationary bike pedal. Can he?

The human servant declared some selfish “me-time” on the exercise bike. But brave, dedicated and loyal border collie Flava knew what that really meant – foreplay for the real “me-time” which means playing with the good girl dog. If only there was some way to speed up that process, she thought, so all could celebrate triumphantly.

Then inspiration struck: “Why don’t I drop it right at their feet while they spin those pedals around at 20 mph?”

“They’ll reward me with an unprecedented number of treats,” woofs heroic dog. However, this unjust world meant another flawed response. Instead of the expected accolades and gratitude, the human seemed to be almost… annoyed.

The dog took it in stride, as always. “Not all great acts are appreciated during their times. It will come to them in the middle of the night when I decide they need to wake up so I can go take a dump.”
